We have recently purchased this characterful cottage with the intention of creating a charming holiday retreat situated in a most wonderful part of the Derbyshire countryside. You can find Scarthin (the street) within the heart of Cromford - renowned as a World Heritage Site and having similar status as Stonehenge and the Pyramids.
This cottage is 240 years old and retains many of its original features. However, it has just had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted, with new carpets and furniture throughout. So you can be sure that you will enjoy a comfortable stay!
The village is in prime walking country. We have over 50 walks in very close proximity and the most stunning scenery that derbyshire has to offer. Some of which can be viewed from the cottage.
Should the weather draw in, we also have a vast number of covered Tourist Attractions so you will never want for anything to do.
