At Sunnybank we are dedicated to providing top quality clean accommodation (AA 4 Star, ETC 4 Star Silver), with a friendly and positive approach to service. We pride ourselves in our ability to make changes whether they be to the menu, or the bedrooms in response to customer feedback. Working together, we aim to provide our guests with what they want at sensible prices.
Our location is ideal for many of the historic houses ( Chatsworth / Haddon / Hardwick / Kedleston & other National Trust Properties). As well as being central to the majority of Tourist Attractions within The Derbyshire Dales & Peak District. The 'smokey' textile mills have long gone leaving interesting museums, mills, stunning scenery and quaint villages around and about. We have scores of walks for all abilities on our doorstep and plenty of covered attractions if the weather does prevail. A week's stay is simply not enough!
Sunnybank nestles on a quiet hillside amongst woodland with a huge variety of birds. We are very privileged to live in such a beautiful part of the country. Come and share our home - walkers and talkers (with a sense of humour) are welcome! as are of course the quiet and interesting types - our service has been described as attentive but not intrusive, so if you prefer to do your own thing we will give you all the space and peace you require.
Public transport links in Matlock Bath are excellect if you prefer to leave the car at home.
