LOCATION - Sunnybank is up a hill on the edge of woodland, being elevated we have the most stunning unobstructed views of the Derwent Valley. We are not over-shadowed so the light is literally brilliant and we can also offer 'clean air' as our woodland is natures best filter.
We are less than 5 minutes walk from Matlock Bath high street where there are numerous places to eat and drink.
It is also very peaceful where we are. You will not be disturbed by 'roudy' night clubbers after hours or by loud traffic / public transport noise passing by your bedroom windows.
QUALITY ASSURED - We are one of only a few council registered Guest Houses (Sunnybank was established over 28 years ago) and we have just been re-assessed (Aug 08) by Visit Britain as being 4 Star Silver Award. Unlike many other B&Bs we do not hide any of our rooms from inspection.
We do not employ any staff - we guarantee that our rooms will be available from a certain time and to a certain standard, and we can do this because as a husband and wife team we trust each other implicitly and we know exactly what needs to be done! We have never double booked a room and we have never had to ask guests to leave because there was something wrong with a room.
